This year’s Ecobuild represents a milestone in the on-going development of Alumasc’s Harmer Drainage range.
Following a productive year, Harmer will, for the first time, have a dedicated stand, that promises to provide an important technical resource for Engineers, Specifiers & Contractors visiting the show.
‘Blue is the new Green’ - Harmer will be launching its new innovative Blue Roof range which is expected to attract a large degree of interest at this year’s show. Blue Roofs are a new solution that uses specially adapted Harmer roof outlets on top of the roof to regulate drainage of water to the sewerage system. Alumasc have been at the fore of research and development, designing the UK’s first Blue Roof at Zenith House in London
The last 12 months have seen a number of significant changes within the Harmer brand, which were kick-started by the unprecedented success of Alumasc’s new Drainage Calculator software. In an industry first, Alumasc presented Architects and Specifiers with the ability to calculate Harmer drainage systems which are automatically compliant to BS EN 12056:2000.
The software has quickly become an everyday tool within the specification process and as a result has been made available as an app for the iPad and iPhone via the Apple App Store. Version 2.0 of the software will be available at the show with live demonstrations and free copies available on USB sticks.
Also showcasing at Ecobuild will be the market leading BS EN 877 Harmer SML lightweight cast iron soil & waste system. SML is BBA Agrément certified with a proven track record for above ground drainage with a comprehensive range of fittings and accessories. The new Ductile Iron brackets will be on display at the show along with the unique Duomat fixing tool that is designed to rapidly speed up installation.
