Fermacell is set to make a return to the Ecobuild event in March showcasing its multi-purpose gypsum fibre building board and project solutions.
The company, which is part of Xella International - a multi-national business manufacturing in over 30 countries, will ‘showcase the board in its simplest form’ in order to demonstrate its excellent acoustic qualities and superb impact and moisture resistance, as well as its flexibility in providing a sustainable solution for walls, ceilings and floors.
Fermacell’s unique manufacturing technique produces a board of quality, flexibility and strength from 94 per cent recycled materials, bringing the highest levels of environmental care to the construction industry.
In addition to being environmentally manufactured, the board carries a class ‘0’ fire rating and is capable of supporting far greater loads, up to 50kg per cavity fixing and 30 kg per screw, compared with other dry-lining solutions. Once installed the board is also immediately ready to accept paint, wallpaper or tiles making it ideal for any project.
Gary Carter, General Manager at Fermacell, said: “We’re delighted to be back at Ecobuild demonstrating the many qualities our dry-lining board has to visitors to the largest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment in the world.
“The design, versatility and high-end performance of the board provides a whole host of benefits for both commercial and domestic projects, which we are looking forward to demonstrating during our time at Ecobuild.”
Fermacell will be exhibiting from stand number N861 at Ecobuild at ExCeL, London from March 5-7.
