Leading manufacturer of heating controls, Honeywell, will be exhibiting at Ecobuild.

The company’s team of specialists will be on stand N2322, to offer advice, answer enquiries, give on stand demonstrations and discuss the comfort and energy efficiency benefits of using wireless heating controls in homes and other properties.

At the show, Honeywell will be revealing its latest heating controls system – Evotouch.  Gold winner at the House Beautiful Awards 2012, Evotouch combines touch screen functionality with an award-winning sleek design.  The multi-zone controller sits at the heart of a sophisticated heating controls system and can wirelessly control up to eight heating zones in a domestic house, ensuring homeowners can really set the heating to suit their lifestyle.

Also on the stand will be the Sundial RF² heating control packs which make it easy to upgrade any existing heating control system, resulting in no mess, no fuss.  With a 30 metre range and robust wireless protocol, Sundial RF² wireless installation is tried and tested heating control solution.  The timer has a built-in wireless receiver; simply add a timer and the rest of the wireless controls work straight out of the box.

Sundial RF² provides added functionality over more traditional controls allowing homeowners to programme their heating for any period of time from one hour to a week.

Honeywell will also be showing the Hawk system, a compact controller used to integrate heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in a building.  It combines control, supervision, data logging, alarming, scheduling and network management functions with Internet connectivity and web serving capabilities in a small, compact platform.

In addition to this, the company will be discussing its extensive range of water products - which include: WRAS approved pressure reducing valves (PRVs) and WRAS and TMV2 / TMV3 scheme approved thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs).

Andy Mansfield, marketing communications manager said: “We always enjoy exhibiting at Eco-build as it provides us with a superb opportunity to get the message across that whatever technology is used to provide heat in a domestic setting, Honeywell has the products that provide all the control required.

“Our stand this year will focus on comfort through the use of heating controls and outline the suitability and capabilities our controls provide.  Modern thermostats deliver accurate, energy efficient control and ensure that comfort levels are easy to maintain.”

Honeywell will also be on hand to offer advice on the different products available, when and where to use them, guidance on installing wireless thermostat and information on implementing Part L of the building regulations, including zoning.
