Marbrex interior wall cladding has been used to complete the refurbishment of toilet facilities in the Brian Clough Stand at Nottingham Forest Football Club.  The tile-effect cladding panels were supplied by approved stockist DBS Bathrooms in Moonstone.  The toilets formed part of a wider refurbishment programme conducted by Nottingham-based contractor Office Innovations.

Due to the time constraints of the season the refurbishment of the Brian Clough Stand was completed in just six weeks, including the executive boxes and lounges, and toilets.  Marbrex was used as a wall covering in three large male and female toilet facilities.  The PVC-U cladding system was specified due to its low maintenance properties, ease of installation and its lasting and contemporary finish.

The refurbishment was completed during the 2013/14 season.  In addition to the Brian Clough Stand the Robin Hood Suite, Reception & Player’s Lounge and Executive Area were also upgraded.

With the new season now well underway, and the Championship club performing under the watchful eye of manager Stuart Pearce, the refit will be put through its paces; nothing more so than the Marbrex panelling.  The City Ground has a capacity of 30,576 all seated, with the Brian Clough Stand home to around 10,000 fans, making its toilet facilities one of the most visited areas in the Club!

Marbrex is a hygienic, wipe-clean wall and ceiling covering.  It can be installed in around half the time required for tiling and can even be fitted over existing tiles making it ideal for refurbishment and renovation projects.  Suitable for all wet areas, the panels are waterproof and also provide some insulation helping to reduce condensation and combat the issue of mould and damp.
