Knight Frank LLP has been instructed by Dhillion Hotels Limited (In Administration), acting by its Joint Administrators, Sarah M Rayment and Antony D Nygate of BDO LLP, to sell The Olde Bell, Hurley for offers on £10m and The Crown, Amersham for offers on £4.5m.

The Olde Bell, which in parts is believed to date back to 1135, is located in the village of Hurley, Berkshire, close to Henley-on-Thames. The AA Five Gold Star Inn comprises 48 bedrooms and suites as well as an award winning restaurant and summer kitchen, significant conference and banqueting facilities and extensive gardens including a well-stocked kitchen garden.

The Crown, well located on the High Street of Old Amersham in Buckinghamshire, comprises 38 bedrooms, a restaurant, bar, summer kitchen, conference space and attractive outside space. The hotel is rated AA Four Gold Star Inn. Both hotels are freehold.

Dominic Mayes, Head of Hotels at Knight Frank commented: “Both properties were considerably refurbished in 2008 in collaboration with the celebrated designer Ilse Crawford and the hotels are now presented in a contemporary English style, whilst fully maintaining the historic nature of the component buildings.

"They both have an established following and a strong business base and there is great opportunity for an investor, either in the hotels individually or as a pair.”
