A leading operator of outsourced leisure facilities within the private and hotel sector, Hotel and Facilities Management by Leisure Connection, has invested £7,000 in installing a Micro BMS Unit, a small unit, which gains control of the non-automated plant within the facility, at Wyboston Lakes Health and Fitness Club.
The new innovation is targeted to provide the health and fitness club with a return on investment in under one year from this April.
The Micro BMS unit will provide the facility with low maintenance control without the need of a BMS hub or any items connected to it, resulting in a highly productive energy saving system for the club.
Steve Bambury, Head of Hotels and Energy for Hotel and Facilities Management by Leisure Connection, commented: "We are committed to saving energy across the sites we manage, the installation of the new Micro BMS Unit at Wyboston Lakes is just one of many ways we are working to achieve a greener operation for the clubs we manage.
"The targeted return on investment is huge, a massive £7,000 in just under a year, proving we have confidence that this new technology will help to reduce energy consumption at the site in a cost and time effective way."
