Datchet Water Sailing Club is set on inland reservoir overlooking Windsor Castle in Berkshire.

The sailing water is 475 acres in diameter - making it one of the largest inland areas in Southern England providing a wide range of sailing events from junior through to large international competitions.

The recently refurbished waterside clubhouse features Kemmlit’s Variocell cubicle system.

Variocell is a tough, durable, stylish cubicle system, easy to maintain and importantly, its anticorrosion features make it ideally suited for wet area applications –all qualities project architects Martins Camasuli were looking for.

The Variocell cubicle system specified features 30 mm composite elements of aluminium (also available in steel) with a special sound absorbing inlay – the doors and walls were attractively finished in Anthracite with contrasting satin anodised aluminium fittings.

The contract was managed for the sailing club by WP Contracts.

With floor to ceiling cubicles in rows or singles, cubicles for the disabled ,swing doors or sliding doors, combinations with Kemmlit lockers, shelving and benches, Variocell offers almost limitless combinations and layout options.

Available in a range of colours and finishes Variocell is part of an extensive range of high performance cubicle and locker systems from Kemmlit that are available exclusively in the UK from Skirmett Washrooms who also offer a design, project management and installation service.
