Two of the biggest brands in paper hygiene products, Tork and Lotus Professional, have amalgamated to offer a full hospitality package for front and back of house.

The blending of the two brands follows the acquisition of Georgia Pacific’s EMEA operations, by Tork parent company, SCA.

The brand amalgamation has been carried out with a careful eye on maintaining continuity for loyal Lotus Professional customers, while at the same time increasing the offering for Tork customers.

“The Lotus Professional brand has a long-standing customer base for front-of-house napkin and tabletop products and we have been extremely careful to make sure that these customers have not been forgotton as the two brands become one,” explains Tork Product and Segment Manager Rebecca Blake.

“All that caterers and restaurateurs love about Lotus Professional will live on in Tork. There have been changes and updates to packaging, but the same great products will be inside. The new refills will fit existing Lotus Professional dispensers, and the range of items available will remain the same.”

The Lotus Professional expertise in front-of-house perfectly complements the Tork mastery in wiping, cleaning and washroom paper products which are essential to back-of-house operation. Bringing the two brands together will make buying options easier for caterers who can now rely on one brand for all their paper products.

“We recognise that buying paper products is essential for caterers but it is just one of many decisions that have to be made, and is a distraction from the prime focus of their business,” says Rebecca.

“Tork has always been about making working life surprisingly simple, and  with the recent changes, all of our ranges are now designed to make the lives of caterers easier in terms of product name, use and practicality. The bringing together of the Lotus Professional and Tork ranges will make buying quicker  and more straightforward.”
