Leading tile manufacturer, British Ceramic Tile, has won a major new specification with Holiday Inn Express of the InterContinental Hotels Group.
This significant new specification will see British Ceramic Tile provide tiles exclusively to the fourth generation of Holiday Inn Express hotels over a five year period. Having supplied a comprehensive range of wall and floor tiles to three UK hotels so far, British Ceramic Tile will supply tiles will for all reception, café and public bathroom areas within any new Holiday Inn Express hotels or refurbishment sites.
British Ceramic Tile’s Chief Executive, Tony Taylor, said: “This is a major win for the business and a significant opportunity for growth. The high profile specification will see the business specify tiles for a large number of Holiday Inn Express sites throughout Europe. We’re delighted to be working with the InterContinental Hotels Group and feel extremely proud to be able to offer such an extensive range of tiles for all their refurbishment needs.”
British Ceramic Tile started working with forpeople early last year, to specify products on behalf of the InterContinental Hotels Group. Portland Grey has been specified in the entrance areas and WC’s. The porcelain material is particularly suited to high traffic areas due to its hardwearing properties. The Illusion grey floor tile can be seen in the café, channeling contemporary style.
Jessica Skelton, Interior Designer at forpeople said: “We were impressed with the quality and design of the tiles British Ceramic Tile could offer us, which is why we chose to work with them. The team worked closely with us to make sure the products specified matched the requirements of the hotel group, and were on hand to provide expertise during the whole process, offering a range of solutions to meet the needs of our project.”
