Bison Manufacturing, the UK’s leading precast concrete manufacturer, is to supply its floor and stair units to developer Berkeley Homes as they convert an historic London building, St Joseph’s Gate, Mill Hill.
Berkeley Homes will use 2,500m² of Bison’s 200mm deep Hollowcore flooring along with two flights of precast concrete stairs in this highly prestigious residential development.
This charming property is set within seven acres of landscaped grounds. The Grade II Listed building was originally constructed in 1874 as a seminary for the training of priests and has featured in the award winning BBC drama, Call The Midwife.
Once complete, the development will comprise 49 high-specification two, three and four bedroom apartments.
Speaking on the appointment, Mike Nelson, Sales and Commercial Manager at Bison Manufacturing said: “We’re delighted to have been appointed to supply our precast flooring and stairs to such a unique project.
“The high quality of Bison’s hollowcore floors and precast staircases will compliment the high standards that Berkeley Homes will create throughout the St Joseph’s Gate development. Utilising Bison’s products will also reduce construction times and provide excellent durability.”
