JELD-WEN, the UK’s leading manufacturer of timber windows, doors and stairs, teamed up with HRH The Prince of Wales’s charity, The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community, to provide premium windows for The Prince’s Crescent at this year’s Ideal Home Show.
JELD-WEN provided vertical sliding sash windows, tilt and turn and stormsure casement windows, stairs and doorsets for the three Prince’s Houses showcased at the annual event.
Tony Pell from JELD-WEN, said: “We’ve worked with the Prince’s Trust and the Prince’s Foundation for Building Community for a number of years now providing windows and stairs for various community development projects across the UK. We’re really proud to have our windows showcased in all three show homes at this year’s event.
“At JELD-WEN we look to be at the forefront of sustainability, which is why we work with natural materials such as timber and offer bespoke designs that complement or improve the look of heritage buildings while offering modern function, such as improved security and thermal efficiency.”
The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community promotes the benefits of more sustainable living, and their presence The ‘Show Village’ at the Ideal Home Show aims to inspire homeowners, developers, local trade professionals, community groups and government to work together to build sustainable communities.
