Airflow provides a two-day BPEC accredited training course on ventilation installation and commissioning.
Within Approved Document F of the 2010 Building Regulations there is a separate Domestic Ventilation Compliance Guide which stipulates all fixed mechanical ventilation systems must be commissioned and notified to Building Control to ensure correct installation - from a toilet extraction fan through to a MVHR system – it is installed, tested and commissioned correctly and system design targets are met.
Airflow’s BPEC accredited training programme has been developed to provide installers with practical training; covering installation, inspection and testing of all common types of domestic ventilation systems in the UK.
The Domestic Ventilation Installer Course takes place at Airflow's modern training centre in High Wycombe and combines theoretical content with ‘hands on’ system balancing and commissioning exercises.
Mark Travers, a senior trainer at Airflow said: “The course is designed to not only equip participants with the necessary skills to correctly install, commission and test a mechanical ventilation system but also the knowhow to save time and money on site. With the Government actively promoting accreditation schemes, the course will also prepare attendees for any future installer obligations.”
