Commulite, the UK manufacturer of communal and emergency lighting systems for social housing, has announced that all new installations will now be supplied with a fully inclusive 7-year maintenance-free warranty.
John Bishop, founder and CEO of Commulite states that “further improvements in our product design and control systems give us the confidence necessary to provide this exceptional warranty to our customers. It gives social landlords budget certainty, and piece of mind that they are offering their tenants and lease holders the best value”.
“When a housing authority, association or ALMO invests in a new lighting system it is paramount that they can rely on the equipment for many years. With Commulite there are no hidden maintenance costs, no lamps to replace, no ballast and no emergency batteries,” he added.
John is keen to point out that their warranty is robust, insurance-backed and stands up to interrogation. “We’ve seen caveats that void a warranty if the LEDs are subjected to temperatures above 25°C – this is typical for a warm summers day, and emergency fittings with recharging battery packs in them regularly get hotter than that.
"Commulite fittings are tested and guaranteed from -40∘C to +50∘C, far more in tune with the real world.”
