Alarm events and motion can be linked to responses for lighting, heating and other appliances. For example, all lights and appliances can be switched off when the system is armed to away Mode. All lights can be switched on in the event of an alarm. Motion sensors can switch on a light at night for a few minutes. The user can control Comfort with keypads, touchscreen or mobile phones. A free Comfort App can be downloaded from iTunes under ‘Comfort Control’ to run on iPhones and iPads and in future will run on other platforms such as Android.

The outside Door Station intercom rings the internal phones when visitors press the doorbell allowing any phone or keypad to be used to talk to the visitor, and to open the door or gate. When the system is armed to Away Mode, the call is forwarded to a mobile phone to allow the user to talk to the visitor and to open the gate if desired.
