Traditional style timber entrance doors by the award-winning manufacturer Mumford & Wood, are available to complement sliding sash and casement windows, bi-fold and French doors, garden rooms, orangeries and conservatories in the extensive Conservation™ range.
Constructed in a traditional manner, Conservation™ entrance doors are made-to-measure with either glazed panels or solid panel construction, including raised and fielded panels, and are available with beautiful and elegant decorative fanlights, high quality ironmongery and paint finish.
“We are very happy with the factory-applied paint finish of the Mumford & Wood product,” says Steve Purcell, Sales Manager, Mumford & Wood, “and we deliver to site with three coats of high quality paint or stain finish as standard. But, in response to public demand, we will shortly make available the option to colour match with Farrow & Ball paints on both external and internal frames. Smart white will always be available but the current trend is for traditional colours and finishes and these entrance doors look fabulous in a variety of vibrant colours and subtle shades.”
Compliant with current Part L Building Regulations a Mumford & Wood Conservation™ entrance door offers high levels of thermal performance with U-values of 1.4 W/m²k for glazed doors, which is already compliant with the requirements of the new and improved 2013 Legislation.
Manufactured from premium clear-grade, or knot-free, engineered timber, using traditional mortice and tenon joints for maximum strength and stability, every door is a substantial 57mm thick, hung within a 68mm frame. These doors feature a Secured by Design PAS 23/24 approved multi-point locking system for increased levels of security and total peace of mind.
