Methven, the global designer and manufacturer of premium showers and tapware, has joined forces with Midlands-based builders’ merchants Tippers, to launch a new display concept for its Deva brand.

The new ‘self-selection’ displays, which showcase a range of Deva basin mixers and taps, bath shower mixers, showers and kitchen taps, along with the Methven cool to touch Maku bar shower, have been installed in six branches of Tippers Building Materials.

The displays, which represent a significant investment by Methven and underlines its commitment to support retailers, incorporate striking product displays, information panels explaining the benefits and USPs of the products, plus self-selection shelving to allow customers to pick up the goods.

A range of different sized units and profiles have been installed across the Tippers stores with the largest in Lichfield displaying a total of 55 products.

Amy Tipper, of Tippers, said “We have been in business for almost 100 years now and understand the importance of providing our customers with a high level of expertise, service and above all top quality products. These displays look great, encourage customers to interact and make it easier for them to choose a product to suit their own needs.

“It is vitally important that manufacturers provide this sort of support to retailers and merchants in order for us to stay ahead of the game and offer the best possible service to our clients, so we are delighted that Methven chose to work with us to launch this project.”

Steve Lee, CEO of Methven UK, said: “We are committed to providing as much support as possible to our key retailers in these challenging times and we believe that by making this investment and showcasing our products we can really boost sales for both Tippers and Methven.”

Tippers Building Materials, a family run firm that was established in 1916 has seven branches across the Midlands in Lichfield, Wolverhampton, Uttoxeter, Kidderminster, Tamworth, Birmingham and Nuneaton.
