Leading social housing door and window supplier Nationwide Windows is delighted to have been awarded with a certificate for Performance Beyond Compliance under the Considerate Constructors Scheme for its work with Nottingham City Homes, under which it is responsible for 33,000 properties. This came following a visit to the company’s on site depot, and another to one of the homes where new doors were being fitted.

The company scored more than seven points in each of the five criteria, and was praised highly for its efforts in ensuring the site is clean and tidy, respecting the community, protecting the environment, securing everyone’s safety and caring for the workforce.

Monitor Peter Bolwell states in the site report: “The comprehensive – and they are very comprehensive – procedures the company has developed are very impressive and many main contractors could learn from them. Environmental efforts are very good and the innovative QR database access (a 10 point score at the first visit) was demonstrated to me and works very well. I can only repeat that this company’s procedures are so impressive, they put to shame many general contractors’ arrangements.”

Daryl Cashmore, Operations Director at Nationwide Windows comments: “We were delighted to have achieved Performance Beyond Compliance for our work with Nottingham City Homes, and to achieve such a high score in each of the five categories is testament to the hard work both Nationwide Windows and Nottingham City Homes puts into our partnership. It is fantastic to have been recognized for our environmental record, approachable staff, respect for the surrounding area, and health and safety initiatives. We will continue to build upon our good work.”
