Vinyl 'locks' good

Gerflor Residential Floorings is expanding its portfolio of sustainable, loose-lay floorings for housing with new, high performance, textile-backed and advanced click and lock system floorings that combine fast, cost-effective installation with the benefits of top quality vinyl.

The systems are 100% recyclable and environmentally-sustainable and one of the most interesting is the Senso Clic loose-lay, vinyl plank solution. Ingeniously straightforward to lay, it simply clicks together using a superior, built-in, vertical tongue & groove interlocking mechanism that is exclusive to Gerflor. Due to this technological innovation, up to 10 m² per hour of Senso Clic can be laid over virtually any existing surface provided it is smooth, clean, hard and dry, without adhesive or an insulating sub-floor. As it only requires cutting with a sharp knife, interlocking and tapping into place, it installs both quickly and cleanly without generating dust or noise.

For specifiers seeking a lower price point, yet high performing product for housing, new Senso Lock delivers. Suitable for new build and refurbishment, it uses Unilin’s patented, proven and glue-less locking mechanism for far quicker and more cost-effective installation than an adhered floor. It is also easily lifted for redecoration purposes. A resilient, 100% recyclable, vinyl laminate plank in eight attractive wood designs, it is 4mm thick, has an 0.3mm wear layer and a 12 year guarantee.
