One of the UK’s finest curtain wall specialists NG Developments, based in Wakefield, has been confirmed as working with Graham Construction on an exclusive apartment development in North London.

After successful completion of a combined project in Stoke, NG Developments has again been appointed to work with Graham Construction on two large apartment developments for Bellway Homes in the leafy suburb of Chiswick.

The total cost of the project is in excess of £1.5million and will produce two exclusive apartment blocks, containing luxury one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses in the new complex named Chiswick Point which is set for completion by 2015.

The project will be NG Development’s biggest yet and will see the team install more than 6000 sq. meters of curtain walling and Cladding. The new scheme comes at an extremely pertinent time for the company after it celebrated its 10th Birthday in October, marking a full decade of business success for the curtain wall specialist.

Work has already begun on the Chiswick point development which will offer residents the opportunity to live overlooking a tranquil nature reserve whilst still being on the doorstep of the capital. Through the use of NG Development’s curtain walling, the luxury apartments will have an aspect over The Gunnersbury Triangle Nature Reserve and Chiswick Business Park beyond from full height glass windows and balconies.

Adrian Lee, Commercial Director at NG, commented: “To celebrate a decade in business is a truly great achievement and I am proud of all of our team to help us get to this point. 2013 was an interesting and challenging year, getting really busy towards the final months.

"The construction industry has seen a major surge and upturn in business which is brilliant news. We have also just won two new contracts for JF Finnegan Ltd to help with a TK Maxx store in Bishop Auckland and a Tesco store at Hoyland.

"We already know that 2014 is going to be a record year and to help with the new projects we will be looking to recruit further by taking on a new contracts manager, a new shop floor assistant, along with a new member to the Drawing Office.”

The Wakefield based company has enjoyed phenomenal success of late having also won its first job for Shepherds Construction. This stunning designed project is a brand new undergraduate library for Leeds University called Laidlaw Library costing more than £1.2million. Additionally, NG Developments was also appointed by Bowmer and Kirkland to work on a 35,000 sq. ft. restaurant and retail extension on Southside Shopping Centre in Wandsworth, London.

These new contract wins all follow the completion of a number of successful projects including the installation of more than 1400 sq. meters of curtain walling and glazing as part of the second phase of the Leeds City Centre student accommodation development, Leeds Central Village.
