National construction specialist Novus Property Solutions has won a string of commercial and residential maintenance and refurbishment contracts worth in excess of £550,000 in the West Midlands region.

In Stafford, the Novus team is replacing 46 kitchens in MoD-owned properties for MoDern Housing Solutions. The work also involves asbestos removal, replastering and electrical upgrades.

In Newcastle-under-Lyme, Novus is completing external upgrade works, including block paving, tarmacking, fencing replacement and groundworks on the Poolfields Estate for Aspire Housing.

The Stoke-on-Trent-based firm has also completed external roofing works and internal fire risk upgrade works at the Birmingham Marriott Hotel on Hagley Road.

In addition, Novus has carried out redecoration of communal areas at Henry Court in Coventry. This is a sheltered housing scheme for elderly people owned and managed by Anchor. The work included redecoration of communal areas such as corridors, staircases, offices, dining areas, lounges and toilets.
