Building on its reputation for craftsmanship and high quality timber products, Black Millwork is delighted to announce a new range of versatile, bespoke garage doors.
This latest addition to the company’s already extensive collection puts Black Millwork in a unique position within the window and door industry as the only supplier who can provide bespoke entrance, back and garage doors. This gives homeowners more design possibilities than ever, allowing them to create a uniform door style across all aspects of the property.
The new garage doors are available in side-hung, roller doors and traditional up and over profiles.
Side-hung garage doors are an increasingly popular style for modern homeowners. Compared to traditional garage doors, side-hung profiles are widely considered more aesthetically pleasing. Allowing for partial opening, the doors offer quick access and enable homeowners to enter their garage without having to reveal its contents.
As with all its products, Black Millwork has ensured the garage doors are available in a range of profiles, with bespoke design options available to help achieve a particular aesthetic goal. The product comes in cedar wood as standard but homeowners can upgrade to the more premium option, Accoya. As a modified timber product, Accoya combines cutting edge technology with the natural beauty of wood. The material has been specifically designed to resist rot and perform in even the harshest weather conditions and as such has a much longer lifespan than alternative materials.
Speaking on the new additions, General Manager at Black Millwork, Gary Hutton commented: “We’re delighted to reveal this new addition to our garage doors offering. This is a significant addition to our product portfolio that allows homeowners to achieve design goals that were previously impossible. It also puts us in the unique position of being able to design bespoke entrance, back and garage doors meaning homeowners can create a signature style throughout their property’s external access points.”
Responding to increased demand for doors that can be integrated into home automation systems, Black Millwork has ensured the product is fully motorized and can be operated via a remote or mobile phone for added convenience. Samples of the new range are available to view at Black Millwork’s Burton-on-Trent showroom along with the rest of company’s extensive product collection
