Leading Italian render manufacturer, Fassa Bortolo, has recently completed work on a contemporary new residential project on the sought-after island of Jersey.
A 300sqm development, Luna House required a render solution which would help it meet a required U-Value.
Already aware of Fassa’s range of external wall insulation (EWI), the project contractor, Da Costa Rendering, reached out to Fassa’s team of experts to help specify the project.
Following an initial site visit in May 2022, National Business Development Manager at Fassa, Andy Sampson, suggested using the innovative Fassatherm system with premium 90mm expanded polystyrene insulation (EPS) for added insulation properties.
Alongside this, the A96 base coat was used to prime the substrate, and the render was completed using RX561 in shade ‘White’ for a bright, clean finish, as requested by the customer, C F Construction.
After six months, the project was completed in November 2022 following a phased approach to coincide with the main contractor’s build programme.
Susana Da Costa, Director at Da Costa Plastering comments: “We recommend and trust Fassa Bortolo’s high quality products. The level of professionalism and expertise displayed by the company is fantastic and the team always go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction.”
