Security expert Abloy UK is showcasing its CLIQ Remote system at the Patient First exhibition at ExCeL London on 26 – 27 November 2014.

Patient First is a national event focusing on positive changes within the NHS mindset and methodology as the only way to improve patient safety outcomes.

Visitors can get an interactive demonstration of how the Abloy CLIQ Remote system works on stand E05, with Abloy UK representatives on hand to answer any questions.

Abloy CLIQ Remote uses web-based software allowing users to remotely authorise keys for use in specific operational areas within the existing masterkey system for a pre-determined period of time.

This ensures the highest level of key control incorporating maximum flexibility to ensure access in the event of an emergency to nominated key holders.

This solution also provides comprehensive audit trails on cylinders and padlocks and the ability to remove lost or stolen keys from the system, thereby providing tight key management at all times.

CLIQ has proven extremely successful within the healthcare sector already, following a drug cabinet installation at Scunthorpe hospital and other NHS trusts throughout the UK.

CLIQ was installed to streamline the process of accessing medicines, offering benefits including improved drug security, traceability of drug allocation, and patient safety. In addition to this, the extra efficiencies created following the installation of CLIQ was the equivalent of having an additional 24 nurses across the trust.

Jon Burke, Marketing Manager for Abloy UK, said: “CLIQ has proven to be a valuable addition to Scunthorpe hospital, and we hope to see other healthcare organisations utilising the system in order to benefit both the staff and patients.

“We’re really looking forward to getting face-to-face with healthcare professionals at Patient First, and explaining how the CLIQ system operates and the full range of benefits it provides.”

Patient First takes place on Wednesday 26 November, 8:30 - 19:00, and Thursday 27 November 2014, 8:30 - 18:00, in the ExCeL London, Halls S21 - S17/S16.
