Leading laminate surfaces manufacturer Polyrey has had its M003 compact laminate installed in all the washrooms in the new large academic building at Ruskin College in Oxford, providing the cubicles with long-lasting stylish and practical finish.

Renowned architectural practice, Penoyre & Prasad, specified M003 compact laminate from Polyrey’s designated Washroom Collection. Chosen with a dark speckled finish, the toilet cubicles now have a contemporary feel that befits the clean aesthetic of the redesigned bathroom areas.

With a phenolic core for extra strength and the décor impregnated with a melamine resin and protected by a surface overlay to ensure lasting appearance retention, M003 offers high levels of durability for demanding applications. It is also shock and moisture resistant, so ideal for busy washrooms that are in constant use.

“Polyrey’s M003 laminate is performing well as a finish for our lavatory cubicles,” comments Professor Audrey Mullender, Principal of Ruskin College. “Its practical performance characteristics were key to its specification; the toilets in a busy college experience a heavy flow of use by students, staff and visitors, so the laminate needed to be extremely hardwearing and built to last.

"M003 has all of these qualities and also has the added bonus of offering a stylish aesthetic that is in keeping with the modern look of the developed college, notably in the new-build areas.”

Available in 250 decors, the compact laminate collection from Polyrey will suit all kinds of applications and a selection of designs is available in larger sheet sizes to enable simpler fabrication.
