Rada, the experts in commercial showering and washroom controls, has seen its Outlook digital washroom solution used as part of a major design and build solution in a specialist training facility for the London Fire Brigade.
Working with main contractor, The Brennan Group and specialist electrical engineering installers, e2UK, Rada’s Outlook was selected for East Beckton DTF (Dedicated Training Facility) during the refurbishment of its shower and washroom facilities. The system was chosen for its robustness, ease of maintenance, easy programming and the ability to connect the valves to a network.
Outlook is programmable to suit specific applications with an easy to use Windows-based interface on a laptop, PC or equivalent device. It provides automatic duty flushing, supervised thermal disinfection, and up to 12 months recorded data, reducing manual resources and costs.
For this project, Rada Outlook IR infrared sensor units were fitted, providing a wall mounted non-touch flow control solution for the high volumes of water used on site.
Steven Dale, Managing Director of e2, said: “We found the whole process with Rada professional and very well supported – from product selection to delivery and on-site assistance. The Outlook system meets the needs and requirements of the training facility extremely well, and we’ve had great feedback from the owners and operators of the centre, Babcock Training.
"Outlook’s duty flush reporting, ease of use, anti-scalding features, and profound robustness has proved to be the perfect solution for its shower and washrooms.”
Eoin McQuone, Business Director at Rada, added: “Outlook offers a highly sustainable, intelligent, L8 compliant digital washroom management solution to a broad range of projects, including educational and training facilities.
"The system has been expertly engineered to help customers achieve value-added commercial washroom solutions which meet all of their requirements and reduce whole life costs, and we are delighted that Outlook provides Beckton DTF with the right washroom solution they needed.”
