Weatherite Building Services' (WBS) wealth of experience in providing optimum kitchen ventilation systems was the only reassurance Grange Lane Infant Academy needed when looking to upgrade their kitchen facilities.
Grange Lane Infant Academy based in Doncaster is sponsored by School Partnership Trust Academies (SPTA) who operate as a single multi-academy sponsor.
Appointed as Main Contractor WBS designed, supplied and installed a complete kitchen ventilation system which included an island mounted extract canopy together with a roof mounted extract fan, a roof mounted make up air unit incorporating a gas fired tempered air burner. In addition WBS carried out all necessary electrical and gas works.
All work was completed and commissioned during the half term holiday so as to ensure minimal disruption to the day to day running of the school.
"We were delighted to have been awarded this project after a successful tender process," said Mike Turton, Managing Director of WBS, "And feel that our experience in this sector and our technical ability to deliver the right solution was a major contributing factor."
WBS has over 40 years' experience in all aspects of building service including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, commercial kitchen ventilation/extraction, data centre/IT cooling, boiler house refurbishment/replacement and all aspects of M & E services.
