World-leading scientific research body The Science and Technology Facilities Council has appointed Pick Everard as its project management consultant on its national framework.
The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) is a UK government body that carries out civil research in science and engineering, and funds UK research in areas including particle physics, nuclear physics, space science and astronomy.
Pick Everard, who is a multi-professional construction industry firm, will be delivering project management expertise across the STFC’s sites including Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Didcot and Daresbury Laboratory in Warrington.
Adrian Ceney, national director for project management at Pick Everard, said: “We are excited to be appointed to the STFC’s framework. The project will continue Pick Everard’s expansion into this sector, building on our work nationally with clients such as Public Health England (PHE), Defence Science Technology Laboratories (DSTL) and several leading Universities.
“This is an exciting area for us which we are keen to start work on. We are proud of our collaborative working and look forward to working with STFC to deliver project successful projects together.”
Pick Everard was appointed to the two year framework along with AECOM and Mace with work starting this month.
STFC has six sites in the UK in Edinburgh, Swindon, Didcot, Warrington, Hampshire and Cleveland.
