In addition to this, the brochure now gives you access to:

- Wall build-up drawings for facade systems
- Product finishes and colours
- Detailed project case studies.
Following the announcement of the RIBA 2018 National Awards, Taylor Maxwell was delighted that Storey's Field has now been shortlisted for the Stirling Prize 2018.
Storey's Field is an impressive landmark for the newly created community of Eddington in North West Cambridge. A joint venture by the University of Cambridge and Cambridge City Council, Storey's Field Community Centre and Nursery has been strategically designed by London based MUMA.
Following extensive consultation, a European stock brick was selected to achieve the desired high calibre finish. Bands of verticle stretcher bond brickwork span each entrance and extend around the building to the main hall of the community centre.
A vertical ridged pattern of brickwork protrudes from the facade and at high level, a band of Flemish bond brickwork with a combination of projecting, recessed and missing headers give texture to the facade. Deep precast brick soffits were manufactured off-site and supplied to create the sheltered thresholds to the building's entrances.
