GEC Anderson has enabled many design professionals to realize their ambitions for both domestic and commercial kitchens, but now one of the world’s foremost architectural consultancies has called on the stainless-steel specialists to help deliver a project they can reflect on every day.
Foster + Partners – responsible for such structures as Apple Park, the Mayor of London’s City Hall and the breathtaking Millau Viaduct in France – has a new galley kitchen in its Hester Road studio which features bespoke sinks, surfaces and splash-backs supplied by GEC Anderson.
The stylish and highly practical space was designed by Fosters + Partners and created by LWK Kitchens from East London, as part of a wider refurbishment scheme.
The GEC fabrications were produced through a series of consultative meetings with the team and delivered direct to site in Battersea for installation by specialist fitters CHC.
GEC Anderson began business in the early sixties and has since built a reputation for the supply of top end stainless steel sinks and sanitary ware with a combination of innovative design, top quality materials and expert craftsmanship.
The company is able to create custom engineered solutions to fit any space or specification, in the case of the Foster + Partners studio, fabricating an additional panel for the end wall.
As
ever, GEC Anderson’s kitchen creations offer not just stunning looks, but
practicality and the ability to provide an easy to clean, hygienic
environment.
