Forbo Flooring Systems has unveiled its refreshed collection of high performing Flotex Planks, introducing re-imagined digitally printed designs inspired by natural textures and contemporary colour stories.
Launching in the first wave, the Woven and Stone ranges effortlessly combine durability with comfort, acoustics and design versatility for today’s demanding commercial interiors
A long‑established modular flooring solution, Flotex Planks is engineered for environments where hygiene, resilience and comfort are essential. Its ultra‑dense fibre construction with over 70 million fibres per m², paired with a waterproof backing, delivers exceptional longevity, effortless maintenance and 19dB impact sound reduction.
These performance qualities make the collection ideal for high‑traffic spaces such as offices, retail, higher education, leisure and hospitality, where safety and cleanliness are critical.
The refreshed collection showcases seven digitally enhanced designs across the Woven and Stone ranges. Thanks to the precision of digital printing, Flotex achieves intricate detail far beyond standard tufted carpet tiles, enabling architects and designers to create distinctive visual schemes. The modular plank format supports multiple installation patterns, including the on-trend herringbone, and allows seamless integration with other Forbo solutions such as Tessera carpet tiles and Allura Flex LVT, without the need for transition strips. It also allows for easier handling on site, when compared to typical sheet or roll flooring.
The new Woven range focuses on textual aesthetics with Serif, Panama and Calico all available in a varied selection of colour options. Serif’s design leans into the visual representation of layering and abstract patterns, while Panamapresents a mosaic of colour, with the textured design drawing inspiration from the tactile heritage of Tweed. Calicohighlights each thread-like detail and creates the impression of intertwining, to curate a pattern that appears crafted and dimensional.
While the Stone range draws its inspiration from naturally inspired designs. Sierra concentrates on the inclusion of natural textures and Travertine showcases an organic pattern that reinforces its natural origins. In contrast, Concrete & Neo-Concrete mix traditional elements with fun, highlighting colours and geometric patterning, offered in eight different colourways.
Speaking about the updated collection, Donna Hannaway, Head of Marketing UK and Ireland at Forbo said: “Flotex continues to set the benchmark for high-performance textile flooring.
