Global expert in thermal destratification, Airius, has been shortlisted for two awards at the Environment and Energy Awards 2014.
The awards, widely regarded as one of the highest accolades for sustainability in the corporate sector, recognise excellence and innovation in sustainable business practices.
Taking place on the April 2 at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, Airius hopes to scoop the Innovation Award for Environmental Technology as well as the Energy 31.
Airius will be competing with a host of major players in the energy sector in its bid to claim the two awards, including The Carbon Trust and Carillion Plc. DIY giants B&Q will also be challenging Airius for the Innovation Award for Environmental Technology.
Managing Director of Airius, Stephen Bridges, comments: “It really is a fantastic achievement for Airius to be shortlisted for two categories at the Environment and Energy Awards. It’s testament to the hard work that the team has put in to distributing and marketing our unique destratification systems.”
Airius has helped hundreds of businesses, from SMEs to major Blue Chip companies, to make real reductions in their energy usage and carbon emissions with over 75,000 destratification units sold worldwide. With a customer portfolio ranging from British Airways to Mercedes, Airius has experienced an impressive 70% growth over the past year. This year, the Dorset-based company has also launched its new product range, the Designer Series.
Stephen continues: “For Airius to even be shortlisted among some of the biggest names in the industry is wonderful news so we would all be absolutely thrilled if we were to go all the way and win one of the awards.”
