BSW Timber has expanded its Timeless Timber range to include beams, brushwood-finished decking, tongue and groove boards, and cladding.
The new range will focus on quality, durability and strength – characteristics which have become synonymous with the Timeless Timber brand.
The new products sit alongside the established Timeless Timber range, which includes landscaping sleepers and decking, and increased emphasis has been placed on the use of home-grown species, particularly Larch and Douglas Fir.
Timeless Timber has been designed to be practical, adaptable and suitable for a diverse range of purposes, from garden landscaping, decking and walkways, to hard working outdoor spaces, such as sheds or exterior cladding. Indoors, its quality finish softens interiors, and beams add character to high-ceilinged spaces.
Eve Johnson, group marketing manager, BSW Timber, said: “Timeless Timber has been one of BSW’s most popular and trusted brands since its launch 12 years ago.
“As the market has moved forward, BSW has moved with it. The new offering will provide customers with the quality, durable products they expect from the Timeless Timber range, but with increased choice to ensure the range fits a wider range of purposes.
As with our Easi brand, a full range of marketing support is available to stockists including point of sale, brochures, and website listing.”
The new products have been launched to fulfil trade and consumer demand for highly-aesthetic and highly functional timber products for interior and exterior purposes. The full range includes:
- Decking: now with a distinctive brushwood finish, with the option of a rich brown or clear preservative treatment, exclusive to BSW Timber. The range also includes the original wax-treated deckboards, which are pressure treated with Timeless Timber Pro-Wax to slow down the rate of water absorption and evaporation, ensuring the longevity of the deckboards.
- Beams: a new product for 2013, which can be used indoors or outdoors. Made from Douglas Fir, which is renowned for its structural characteristics, the beams can be used to support roofs, ceilings and walls or as decorative features such as mantles or faux exposed beams.
- Cladding: Timeless Timber Cladding manufactured from homegrown Larch is available in both rough sawn and machined sections.
- Tongue and groove boards: one of the most adaptable and easy-to-use products, these boards are the first port of call for a flat, flush fitting surface, and the interlocking structure ensures strength. The use of wood preservative enables this product to withstand exposure to the elements.
- Sleepers: used for a range of garden features, from planting beds to innovative furniture and to create walled areas. Timeless Timber sleepers are designed to withstand tough weather, and are high pressure treated with a rich brown preservative.
