Power management company Eaton will be at Greenbuild EXPO in Manchester (May 7-8, stand B5) to demonstrate a full range of solutions designed to make buildings more energy efficient, sustainable, reliable and safe.
Eaton’s Cooper Lighting and Safety business will be showcasing its security, fire, lighting and control systems alongside a number of other solutions from Eaton’s complete range, including building management, energy monitoring, motor control and electrical distribution.
Visitors to the Eaton stand will be shown how total energy savings of up to 30 percent can be achieved by selecting efficient devices that can be installed in an efficient manner, and then adopting automation, monitoring and maintenance programmes in the longer term.
In addition to reducing both capital and operational expenditure, the products and services are designed to help provide a comfortable and safe working environment with a reliable power supply that benefits from connection to renewable energy sources.
Underlining its status as an industry leader, Eaton is also presenting a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminar on lighting entitled ‘De-energising the Office’, which has been approved by the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).
Andy Gallacher, product marketing manager, Eaton’s Cooper Lighting and Safety business, will explore the evolution of workplace lighting and point out future developments.
He will also cover recent legislation, including EN12464-1 ‘The Lighting of Workplaces’, and discuss its influence upon the design of compliant and efficient lighting.
As a complete solution provider, Eaton’s stand will feature a comprehensive display of technology, including: lighting, lighting controls, emergency lighting, MV switchgear, busbars, power factor capacitors, variable speed drives (VSD), photovoltaics, security alarms / access control, fire alarms and building management software.
Throughout Greenbuild EXPO, experts from Eaton will be on hand to provide those attending the event with free energy consultancy, advice and guidance on selecting the right solutions for specific applications, with the emphasis on combining energy efficiency with reliability to reduce energy costs.
