Munroe K appoints GMI Energy to improve the energy efficiency at White Rose Office Park.

GMI have provided a new LED lighting system for the car parks, the new lighting system has replaced 200 fluorescent lights reducing the energy consumption of one car park alone by 70%.

David Aspin owner of the office park has plans to build a completely carbon neutral crèche and continuously strives to improve the carbon output of the park. He said: "Just by changing something as simple as the lighting system has a massive impact on the environment and this small modification makes a CO2 saving of 95 tonnes a year."

GMI have worked with David for 15 years and have built all of the 500,000 sqft of office space at the park.

Munroe K and GMI Energy have plans in place to install solar photovoltaic’s and wind power, enabling White Rose Office Park to generate a significant proportion of its energy usage from on-site renewable systems.
