Saint-Gobain, the world leader in the sustainable habitat and construction materials markets, is bringing its expertise to GreenbuildEXPO, the sustainable building event.

The show, held at Manchester Central, 1011 November, will play host to discussions on the latest industry issues including the skills gap, ethical specification and the building performance gap.

Saint-Gobain will be sharing a stand with Zero Carbon Hub at the event and will be showcasing its ‘My Comfort’ concept, which builds on Passive House standards. Mark Allen, Technical Director at Saint-Gobain, will also be speaking at the event about the first Multi-Comfort build in the UK, a £1.2m multi-purpose sports and drama hall for one of Worcestershire’s leading independent schools.

Stacey Temprell, Residential Sector Director at Saint-Gobain UK and Ireland, said: “We are looking forward to sharing our knowledge about sustainable building, and in particular our My Comfort concept.

“We are currently offering a support package for architects, contractors and clients to deliver a number of exemplar projects to showcase this standard in sustainable building, so the team will be on hand to explain the process to visitors wishing to collaborate on a project.”

Saint-Gobain’s ‘My Comfort’ concept takes a holistic approach to building and design, providing energy-efficient buildings that achieve positive wellbeing effects through a combination of thermal, audio, visual, indoor air quality and economic comfort.
