Daikin UK is inviting consultants and specifiers to its leading Future Thinking series.

The series will offer nationwide seminar sessions running throughout September and October 2017, showcasing the latest UK construction standards changes for 2018, including BREEAM UK New Construction 2018 and F-Gas regulations.

Presenting updates on the latest techniques driving the future built environment, attendees will be able to hear about the new direction of BREEAM and contribute to its accompanying draft UK New Construction 2018 consultation.

Providing up-to-date guidance and criteria on topics ranging from energy modelling, air quality and refrigerant impacts, the seminars will be led by BREEAM New Construction Scheme experts, Charlotte Hardy, Wendy Thorpe and David Leonard, alongside FETA Chairman, Graham Wright.

Attendees can also hear about why R32 is the low GWP refrigerant of choice within the seminar sessions, which start at 6pm on the day. Offering a chance to gain Continued Professional Development (CPD) points, guests can also enjoy a buffet, drinks and excellent networking opportunities.

Martin Krutz, Daikin UK Managing Director, said: “The construction sector will see many important changes taking effect throughout 2018. Ranging from BREEAM standards and F-Gas regulations - which demand a further 44% reduction in Hydrofluorocarbons (HFC) quotas next year - these will have a major impact on our industry.

“By inviting consultants and specifiers to attend these excellent seminars led by industry specialists, attendees can gain a great insight into the continually evolving UK construction standards changes, helping them to lead the away in applying them across a prosperous, environmentally friendly and energy efficient HVAC sector.”
