AluK (GB) Ltd, the leading aluminium window, door and curtain walling systems manufacturer, has announced that its CPD, BIM: Aluminium Façade Systems – modelling, design, construction, standards and collaboration, has been RIBA accredited.
AluK is the first aluminium systems manufacturer to offer a BIM CPD, leading the way in the development of innovative solutions.
By 2016, all Government funded projects will have to implement Building Information Modelling (BIM). The AluK CPD presentation will give further insight into what this will mean for the way we design, construct and manage projects.
Attendees of the CPD presentation will learn about façade system 3-D objects, including information on modelling and system parametrics, design and construction processes, such as BIM tendering and clash detection, as well as standards and regulations.
