Triple award nomination puts Cornish Ground Source Heat Pump manufacturer three miles ahead of the competition, and into a league of its own.
It’s a three-legged race for shortlisted triple award nominee Kensa Engineering at this year’s H&V News Awards. The prestigious Industry Oscars for those in the heating and ventilation industry has today announced the Cornish ground source heat pump manufacturer is shortlisted for three awards, in light of its innovative product development and project management of landmark renewable schemes.
Kensa Engineering supplies the widest range of ground source heat pumps to the UK market from its Cornish premises, located on a former tin mine site. From this location the company has grown since 1999 to become the largest supplier of ground source heat pumps in the UK.
The awards Kensa has been shortlisted for are:
• Domestic H&V Product of the Year – In recognition of Kensa’s development of the smallest, quietest, and most innovative ground source heat pump on the market, the Shoebox Heat Pump.
• Renewable Project of the Year – In recognition of Kensa’s innovative ground source heat pump system design featuring a communal ground array to provide low cost, efficient, and grant supported installs into 45 new build social houses. In association with New Linx Housing.
• Retrofit Project of the Year – In recognition of Kensa’s involvement in the supply and retrofit of 200 ground source heat pumps to sheltered housing in Somerset, the largest project of its kind. In association with Yarlington Housing Group.
Kensa Engineering’s Managing Director, Simon Lomax comments: “Kensa is delighted to have been shortlisted in three categories at the H&V News Awards. Given the high profile nature of these awards, only the very best entries attain this accolade, and it is very rewarding to achieve such distinction for our efforts.”
The winners will be announced on the 25th April 2013 in London, in front of over 1,000 of the Industry’s leading names.
