Bragard, leading workwear provider to the hospitality sector, has announced the launch of its new kitchen collection, Chef on the Move, which delivers practical and stylish uniform solutions for chefs and kitchen staff working in the UK hospitality industry.
Bragard, part of the Kwintet Group, has designed its Chef on the Move collection for a younger audience than the classic styles for which the brand is renowned globally.
The uniforms have been created for chefs looking for more modern and contemporary designs, which also perform well, maintaining an impeccable appearance in busy and hot kitchen environments.
Chef on the Move is based on a ‘sportswear chic’ look, inspired by both high-street fashion and sports clothing in terms of its functional and technical requirements.
The new range comprises of three tailored fitting men’s jackets, two pairs of men’s trousers and two ladies’ jackets designed specifically for a feminine silhouette. It is manufactured with a mix of the most innovative materials on the market, including COOLMAX mesh panels. COOLMAX wicking properties move perspiration away from the body and through the fabric, where it can evaporate quickly, meaning the wearer is kept dry and comfortable while on the go.
Coinciding with the launch of Chef on the Move, Bragard is also marking its 80th birthday this year with the issue of its new catalogue for 2013, which showcases the Chef on the Move collection and actively makes the brand more accessible to younger chefs working throughout the country.
The catalogue, which promotes the brand’s new tagline ‘Be Your Best’, uses a colour-coded system to segment the different levels of price architecture available across the range, with blue meaning ‘good’, silver for ‘better’ and red representing the very ‘best’ the industry has to offer – so chefs can choose their uniforms depending on their need and budget.
