BriggsAmasco has installed a complete roofing system comprising more than 3,000m2 of single ply membrane at The Square in Leatherhead – providing a watertight finish to the first new-build office scheme in the town for over four years.
Built by developer Eskmuir for clients Savills and Michael Rogers, the Square development will total 68,180 square feet across four office buildings. Ranging in size from 9,935 square feet to 31,205 square feet, the steel-frame buildings incorporate energy efficient design and technology to minimise running costs.
BriggsAmasco was appointed as principal contractor to apply roof coverings to four buildings as part of this large new-build commercial development. The company specified and installed a comprehensive roofing system from Sarnafil that included the G410-EL and 327-18EL waterproofing membranes – both supplied in light grey.
On-site from June and with a strict September deadline, the project tested the company’s ability to deliver roofing systems on time, on budget and to an exceptional quality. Throughout the process, the BriggsAmasco team worked closely to ensure that all sections were suitably integrated to deliver the most robust solutions.
With a tight build programme and a comprehensive array of products required, BriggsAmasco ensured the deadline was met with a high performance, durable roof. The company’s exceptional workmanship and attention to detail, along with a market proven product, contributed to a roofing system that will stand the test of time.
