Urban street furniture designer and manufacturer Woodhouse has launched an exciting range of high design, yet cost effective furniture pieces, called Loci. The suite includes, lighting, signage, seating, bollards, cycle stands and litter bins. Loci is a visually innovative and timeless collection of furniture that is able to complement a variety of architectural styles, making it perfect for significantly enhancing and coordinating public spaces.
Each piece can be colour-customised to exact requirements in all RAL shades, creating street furniture with character and personality. The use of bold colours has also proven to positively impact upon users through complex psychophysical effects that encourage wellbeing through uplifting, soothing or contemplative environments.
The range can also be customised to help support wayfinding strategies whilst simultaneously reducing street clutter through integrating signage information into the furniture. Manufactured in precision fabricated steel, FSC certified timber and technologically advanced, UV-resistant polyester powder coating, the range is highly durable, sustainable and has a lower ecological footprint. This finish, free from Volatile Organic Compounds, has an anticipated life span of 25 years and once installed requires virtually no maintenance. Loci is also entirely recyclable at end of life as individual components are not amalgamated.
