Eaton’s Cooper Lighting and Safety has launched its latest generation of adaptable recessed office luminaires in the form of the Terzetto series, which exploits the latest LED research, together with cutting edge materials and represents the zenith of technology for commercial office lighting.
The Terzetto series, an adaptable recessed luminaire family, has been uniquely designed specifically around LED technology and demonstrates Eaton’s ability to innovate quickly in response to customers’ calls for a high-specification LED product.
“Terzetto represents the latest in LED technology and sleek design,” said Andy Gallacher, Product Marketing Manager, Mains Lighting for Eaton’s Cooper Lighting and Safety. “And we’re really excited to bring these products to the market as it’s the first time we have developed a lighting system specifically around LED."
“We designed the Terzetto series as a direct response to discussions we’ve had with our customers, who were looking for a high-quality product that not only looked good in their applications, but which was also highly energy-efficient. TerzettoTM ticks all these boxes and we believe it demonstrates Eaton’s focus not only in driving lighting technology innovation, but also to listening and working closely with our customers to understand their needs.”
The Terzetto achieves optical efficiency through the ground-breaking OptoUndulant prime diffuser, a technology that has been uniquely developed by Eaton. It also achieves maximum efficacy while maintaining full compliance with EN12464-1. Emergency illumination from a discreet LED is optically controlled with an advanced lens that provides exceptional spacing capabilities.
Light engine and control gear options include a high output, high efficiency LED chip set optimised for maximum efficacy, with energy efficient high frequency drivers as standard. Fused with an air handling body as standard, Terzetto is constructed from the finest grade materials.
With a focus on easy installation, the Terzetto housing has a mild steel construction and is powder coated in a RAL9016 finish. The bracket system ensures it is adaptable to fit in any ceiling type such as metal pan ceilings, exposed T and lay-in applications, and also SAS type ceilings.
OptoUndulant and opalised diffusers assure high transmission, TPa rating and building regulations compliance, in conjunction with an internal matt white balanced diffuser reflector. Emergency versions of the Terzetto are also available with automatic test functionality using, for example, the EasiCheck2 system, which provides continuous monitoring of all emergency luminaires for lamp, battery and control gear faults, together with a programmable test regime to full meet legislation requirements and provide documented history via the panel, PC based Site Monitor graphical software, web or printer.
The Terzetto series is also available using the latest in T5 fluorescent lighting technology.
