Eurojoinery joins The Performance Window Group

The Performance Window Group (PWG), which includes the market-leading brands of Mumford & Wood, Timber Windows, Dale Windows, Clearwood Joinery and The English Glasshouse, is pleased to announce the addition of Eurojoinery from 1 August 2012.

Eurojoinery, of Ashbourne, Derbyshire, markets a range of factory finished timber windows, alu clad timber windows and timber doorsets. A new range of Italian security door sets will also be launched in the UK shortly. Eurojoinery managing director Gordon Nelson, formerly sales director of J B Kind and previously a part-owner of a large window and door company, says: “PWG will give Eurojoinery a great advantage in the UK with the added strength of production facilities and marketing support.”

Simon Howard, managing director of PWG, says: “Eurojoinery joins PWG at an exciting time. In an increasingly challenging market our brands differentiate through product and technical innovation, market leading performance and great customer service. Adding Eurojoinery to our strong stable of brands strengthens our market position still further.”

Howard continues that as an industry, the timber window sector has become fragmented which is justification of the combined strength of the PWG strategy in servicing valued customers. “Consolidation means that a customer no longer has to trawl from one supplier to another. Whether he requires a bespoke, premier grade period Conservation™ system manufactured by award-winning Mumford & Wood, or a more simplified Dale product available to order over the merchant counter, our customers can be assured they will find the genuinely high performance product they require from one of the PWG collections at a competitive price. One company, six brands.”

PWG has continued to grow since the management buyout in October 2006 of Essex-based Mumford & Wood Ltd. The acquisition of Clearwood UK in 2007 was followed by that of Timber Windows in 2009, Dale Joinery and The English Glasshouse in 2010. Reorganisation within the Group took place earlier this year resulting in one business with specific focus on each brand’s respective market sectors.
