As part of its commitment to renewable technologies and promoting best practice - leading chemical water treatment manufacturer Fernox has become a member of the Ground Source Heat Pump Association (GSHPA).
Fernox has invested significantly into the renewable market resulting in a new generation of chemical water treatments to help support the future of the heating industry. Within this portfolio are a variety of products designed to protect ground source heat pumps, including Fernox HP Fill and Fernox HP Cleaner as well as the complete Fernox HP range of heat transfer fluids.
With this in mind, Fernox has been appointed a member of the Ground Source Heat Pump Association (GSHPA), which encourages the growth and development of the ground source heat pump industry.
"We are delighted to join the Ground Source Heat Pump Association in promoting the benefits of the technology," commented Francine Wickham, Global Marketing Director at Fernox. "An important part of our role is to highlight the need for chemical water treatment as without it - ground source heat pumps cannot work to optimum performance and in a worst case scenario could experience system failure. The revisions to Part L of the Building Regulations reflect this need and include the requirement to clean and protect renewable systems."
For further information on a range of chemical water treatments for ground source heat pumps and other renewable systems contact Fernox on Tel: 01483 793 200 or visit: www.fernox.com.
