Fireco, leading supplier of fire safety products and systems, celebrated its 20th Anniversary at The Facilities Show 2014; held at ExCel London.
With over 300 leads taken, a record for the company, Fireco hailed their participation in the exhibition as a ‘huge success’.
Fireco is committed to the facilities management sector and anticipates a significant increase in business following the leads developed at the Show.
Of particular interest to visitors was Fireco’s award winning ‘Freedor’ product, which uses patented acoustic technology to automatically close fire doors when a fire alarm sounds, preventing the dangerous spread of smoke and fire.
Visitors to the Fireco stand were especially impressed that this life saving product will be made even more affordable with a supply-only line for customers to install themselves, available later this year.
Neil Purssey, managing director of Fireco, commented: “Recent research carried out by Fireco found that in 64% of premises visited, the fire service discovered fire doors bring wedged open, a practice that can prove devastating.
“Fireco’s Freedor provides a solution to this problem and I was delighted at the response to this product from visitors to our stand.”
