Guestline has announced that FJB Hotels, a collection of four family owned hotels in Dorset, has implemented a full suite of Guestline web-based solutions including their Rezlynx PMS, distribution channel manager and EPoS till system.
With a collection of four stunning and unique award-winning hotels located in Bournemouth and Poole, the combination of Guestline solutions offers the group a collaborative platform that will help drive room occupancy, increase room rates and improve customer service and management processes.
The Guestline web-based property management system (PMS) incorporates functions such as conference and banqueting, business analysis reporting, sales ledger and rate management, while the Guestline distribution channel manager delivers a solution to maximize the yield potential of room stock by offering real time availability to all online sales channels. The integral nature of the distribution channel manager has helped the group manage its multi-property online sales channels from one location.
The portfolio of properties which are perfect for family holidays, getaway breaks or business trips include the Chine Hotel in Bournemouth and the Sandbanks Hotel, the Harbour Heights Hotel and the Haven Hotel, all of which are in Sandbanks, Poole.
Didier Di Mario, Group Revenue Manager for FJB Hotels, said ‘We needed to upgrade our PMS, CM and EPOS solutions so it met with a fast growing online market, customer expectations and secured technology to achieve level 1 PCI compliancy.
Guestline's solutions proved the most effective way to increase occupancy rates and streamline our management processes. Within just a few weeks, we have already seen a significant improvement in the management of our rate and inventory online. The distribution channel manager has helped us maintain rate parity across all platforms (including 3rd party agents) and managed our inventory in real-time, faultlessly integrating it into our PMS. I am pleased with the achievement so far and looking forward to a fruitful future.'
The cloud based property management system is fully automated across the hotel group, ensuring enhanced staff productivity, streamlined workflows and a single overview of the group - important when managing multiple properties.
The hotel group have installed Guestline's latest mobile-ready EPoS system with new features such as complete integration with PMS, mobile optimization on all devices, and detailed reporting and analysis of stock and billing information. The mobility function of this system was key to the group as the hotels have several outdoor areas and leisure facilities where they needed to take food and beverage orders on hand held devices.
Phil Davidson, Managing Director of Guestline, commented on the partnership: "We are pleased to be supporting FJB Hotels to manage their business in a more effective and profitable way. The group of hotels, which are full of character, charm and individuality, is further testament of our ability to provide full service software solutions for hotels of this quality."
