FORMOA COLOURS were developed in 2000 following the successful use of FORMOA technology in industrial applications since the mid 1990’s. Many companies have found the painting/coating processes in their manufacturing to be a “bottle neck”. FORMOA COLOURS, extrusions and panels can now be pre-painted and then bonded/sealed in an exact colour eliminating the need for high cost on site finishing, or high cost skilled installation labour.
Supplied in plastic cartridges for application using standard caulking guns the FORMOA COLOURS range is truly versatile and can be used in all weathers and environments.
Lap shear strength is greater than 1.8N/mm² (this is more than twice that of common sealants) and elongation is over 500%. The higher modulus and superior adhesion give the FORMOA Colours range greater “anti-pick” characteristics. All colours contain an active fungicide to reduce mould growth and discolouration.
