Trahan Architects’ Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum project took a contemporary approach that combined bold and practical elements into an imaginative modern design. The architects looked to CRL-Blumcraft® 1301 Series ‘All-Glass’ Entrance Systems that contain the slimmest door rail profile in the industry, allowing for virtually uninterrupted glass viewing areas to elevate the high-concept building’s modern aesthetic. 1301 Series Entrance Doors are the original. Often imitated but never matched, this system provides the most glass with the least metal of any entrance door system on the market. This award-winning project serves as just one example of C.R. CRL-Blumcraft’s new patent-pending Designer Series combines remarkable construction and modern design into a dynamic collection of panic handles. Constructed with sharp lines and smooth surfaces, Designer Series Panic Handles are named after their subtle D-shaped design that is specially contoured for a premium feel. Designer Series Panic Handles are designed for use with monolithic tempered glass doors, with or without a keyed access device. Their slender Alloy 316 brushed or polished stainless steel profiles and careful installation on glass doors allow for a virtually uninterrupted glass viewing area that elevates their modern aesthetic. They also feature crisp, investment cast corners that give them durability, and a consistent look and feel. The Designer Series is available as a complete suite of access control devices that includes panic handles, deadbolt handles, electronic egress control handles, dummy handles, and fixed exterior handles.
C.R. Laurence (CRL) has recently expanded its UK operation and opened brand new premises at the Kingsway Business Park, Rochdale. CRL’s recent success in the UK market has prompted the new building purchase, taking CRL’s Kingsway site to over 100,000 ft² of warehouse and distribution space.
