Jewson, the UK’s leading supplier of sustainable timber and building materials, has added five new Tool Hires taking its national network to 230.
These have been created in existing Jewson branches, which were individually identified to increase the availability of tool hire services for trade professionals in the surrounding areas.
The Jewson Tool Hire service is designed to provide trade professionals with the right equipment, flexible hire periods, fast delivery services and discounts for long term hire. The advantage for customers is that, in the event that a hire item is not in stock, delivery is guaranteed within 24 hours.
After every hire, each item undergoes a full service with all maintenance carried out by qualified technicians and service standards that meet those set by the Hire Association Europe (HAE).
Tool Hire points have been added to Jewson branches at Acton, Berwick, Billericay, Birtley and Carlisle.
Richard Pedersen, Tool Hire Director for Jewson said: “Our Tool Hire service is available to order from all Jewson branches but the expanding number of branches with dedicated Tool Hire points means that now customers will be closer to a local hire point, should they need to pop in for advice or to pick up hire equipment for their job.”
