Temporary structures specialist Neptunus has appointed a logistics manager to head up its logistics team at its new UK premises in Northampton.
From September Andy Coleman will once again be working for Neptunus having started his career with the company back in 1990.
During his time away from the business Andy has been involved in the construction of temporary structures at major events such as the Rugby World Cup, London Fashion Week, Royal Ascot and the Olympics.
In his new role as logistics manager Andy will take overall responsibility for the logistics team to ensure the timely delivery of all Neptunus’ UK projects. This will also involve coordinating the transportation of materials and construction equipment to and from Neptunus’ new purpose-built UK office and logistics centre which is due for completion in October.
“I am looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead and welcome the opportunity to work for Neptunus again as it continues to grow in the UK,” said Andy.
“I have always had good ties with Neptunus and have the utmost respect for the company, which despite being a market leader, still holds onto the virtues of a family-run company.”
Neptunus’ UK managing director, April Trasler, added: “Andy has lots of experience in the industry, which will be invaluable in this new role. I am looking forward to working with him again and welcome him back to the team.”
Outside of work Andy is married with three sons and enjoys playing football, climbing, hiking and motorbiking.
